Liguria

I am lucky enough to call the roads and gravel trails of Western Liguria my backyard. What allows me riding my bicycle many days all year long.

Cyclist

My journey with cycling and bicycles started decades ago. I spent years in the professional peloton, lining up at races like the Giro d'Italia, Vuelta España, Paris-Roubaix, the Tour of Flanders, Milan-Sanremo, and the World Championships. 

Bicycle Builder

When my racing years ended, I moved behind the scenes, learning the craft of building bicycles. I worked with classic Italian frame builders like Gianni Motta, Michele Dancelli, then for many years with Casati Cicli.

Eventually, my curiosity led me to the forefront of modern carbon engineering. Today, I am happy to be part of Taiwan's Tango Cycles, who develope top-tier carbon layups for road and gravel bike frames.

Cycling Tours

I go cycling anyway. When you visit I am happy when you join me. I have only one guest (single or couple) at a time. Too many cyclists make cycling complicated for me.

Cycling Lodge

My wife Ingrid and I run the Liguria Cycling Lodge (B&B style). Very quiet, a magical place. Adventurous drive way.

Road and Gravel Bicycle Rentals

I maintain a collection of premium road and gravel bikes, mostly custom-built for a particular guest to ensure the best possible ride setup.

The Workshop

I build and service road and gravel bikes out of passion, focused on craft (built one by one) rather than high-volume sales business.

Liguria Cycling Days

When you visit and take advantage of one or more of those services - I call it Cycling Days. Most enjoyable for “my friends from the North” when it is cold (fall, winter, spring) there. Then Liguria is a very good place for some Cycling Days.
